First sincere thanks to readers who have patiently followed me here…
In future I intend to use this site to post the first drafts of a book on the urgent need to transform the international financial system. To help prepare for that work, I will post articles on the subject, but also post commentary on current events that highlight the need for system change…My ambition is to stimulate further debate on a subject and a system (the international financial architecture) that is largely invisible, but massively impacts not just on a society’s economic stability and security - but also on the ecosystem…Please stay tuned and join the debate with comments and suggestions…Your support is much appreciated.
Be happy to exchange with you Anne. The continual build up of private (not public) debt is the root cause of our economic problems as Michael Hudson, David Graeber, Steve Keen and yourself have pointed out, and changing the current monetary paradigm of Debt Only as the sole form and vehicle for the creation and distribution of money is the urgent matter at hand.
Am learning a little on Degrowth to reduce CEE devastation to a forecast ever increasing number of people mostly not causing it with high carbon lifestyles. Struggling for a way to find it acceptable to deciding powers if it is in fact a best option. Thank you again.
